Leadership

Forrest Lin, General Manager

I had worked in Avnet International Taiwan Limited (AITL), which was the subsidiary of Avnet Inc. I was in charge of Sourcing Department, Purchasing Department and Cost Analyst Department as the manager of these three departments. AITL manufactured Music Center for the 1st plant, and the 2nd plant made CATV components then, the 3rd plant fabricated turntable for usage of the 1st plant. The 4th plant produced Keyboards for Amstrad in the United Kingdom. In order to know how to control the cost, our factories hired a mechanical consultant, who was specialized in Injection Molding and Molding molds, stamping and stamping tools to teach me how to obtain the qualified molds, and how to calculate the molds’ cost as well as the injection molding parts or stamping parts.

These expertise will be used in the forecast of a new project cost, so we can foretell our customers how much cost for this new project, our customer can utilize it to estimate the selling cost, and to evaluate the marking price as well.

Before working in Avnet, I have involved in production control, quality control and material control in other factories, these working experience made me know how to administrate a company or even factory. Due to these precious experience, our company has dealt with some worldwide companies, it is not only our qualified knowledge but also our honest and enthusiastic attitude, we win these customers trust in return.
